We’re looking for a hands-on leader who is ready to take the next step and support the development of our Customer Delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Driver Trainer to join our Customer Delivery team in Brisbane. You’ll play a key role in shaping team capability, ensuring safe operations and supporting the delivery of high-quality service to our airline partners. What you’ll be doing in this training focused role: - Supervise, train and induct workers to airline customer, Airport Authority and dnata catering & retail standards and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality on-the-job training, coaching and induction for new staff
- Provide assistance and assessment of annual refresher training for existing staff
- Ensure team members have the required authorities to drive airside
- Undertake airside assessments to ensure ongoing high performance, productivity and safety standards
- Complete performance assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Leading Hand or Driver when required.
- Perform administrative and reporting duties as required
- Follows up on any discrepancies and ensures all flight deliveries are correct
- Manage administrative and reporting requirements, including system updates and communication tasks.
What you’ll bring to this role: - Strong leadership, decision making and organisational skills
- Previous training experience (would be desired, or willingness to obtain Train the Trainer qualifications)
- A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
- Effective verbal and written communication skills – including report writing
- Ability to apply for and hold a valid ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card) and ADA (Airside Driver Authority)
- A valid MR (or higher) licence
- First Aid Certificate would be an advantage
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster across a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation
- A clean Police Record and Australia Border Force – Fit and Proper Person check (mandatory)
