We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Flight Assembly Supervisor to join our high performing Production team at Brisbane Airport. 

About the role

In this role, you will oversee and manage all assembly and packing operations within your designated area, ensuring flights are packed accurately, efficiently, and delivered on time in line with customer specifications and operational requirements.

You will lead and support a team of Catering Attendants while driving operational efficiency, food safety compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement cross the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily flight assembly and packing operations to ensure targets are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of Catering Attendants.
• Manage rosters and staffing to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, WHS, and company standards.
• Monitor customer requirements and implement operational changes where required.
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across the department.

About You

• Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, catering, food production, or a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with workforce planning and rostering.
• Commitment to food safety, compliance, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• LEAN or SIX SIGMA experience will be highly regarded.
