The Opportunity
We are currently offering a Maternity Leave Contract position for 12 months within our HR team at the Sydney Airport.


Reporting into the NSW HR Business partner, the role is responsible for the timely provision of effective and efficient HR and administrative support to the local Unit, National Human Resources and Payroll. The role exists to ensure legal compliance and completeness of employee records and employee engagement across 4 sites.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing daily operational support to the local management team on various HR related areas including, recruitment, performance management, discipline and terminations
  • Conducting and assisting with all complaints and investigations
  • Managing the end to end recruitment, selection and exit process
  • Managing new employee inductions
  • Completing all administrative tasks including HR & Payroll related support

The Person

This role will suit someone who has a broad range of human resources experience, with previous success in a similar role. The successful candidate will bring their recruitment experience, along with strong administrative skills.


Along with relevant qualifications, outstanding communication skills and a complaints management, we are looking for someone who is passionate about people to be a hands-on member of our team. Successful candidate must be able to travel between sites if required (Sydney and Canberra).
