So, what does a day in the life of a Marshaller look like?
As a member of our airside team, this role will require you to work with the Driver to position the catering trucks to the aircraft and will have a strong focus on manual handling activities such as the loading and unloading of carts and equipment.

In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:

• Marshall the Driver to position the truck to the aircraft in line with policies and procedures.
• Load and unload the trucks with carts, ovens and standard units.
• Prepare and pack catering equipment.
• Prepare, pack and check off on completed flight and deliveries at the kitchen production unit.
• Carry out basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Perform administrative documentation and reporting duties as required.
• Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with all stakeholders.
• Work in accordance with the Company’s policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, Food Safety and WHS.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

• Possession or ability to attain an Aviation Security Identification Card
• Flexibility in regard to working around flight schedules is essential (7 day per week operation)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• A satisfactory police record and criminal history check
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks
