We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our Head Office team as a People & Culture Advisor based in Broadbeach, on a full-time basis. 

 

Reporting to the Manager People & Culture - Corporate, this role will be responsible for supporting the P&C function with upcoming projects and recruitment initiatives. 

 

What are your responsibilities?

  • Assist in managing recruitment and career pathways 
  • Manage various P&C projects aimed at standardizing current processes and templates.
  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement practices in recruitment, sourcing processes and systems.
  • Consult with hiring Line Managers to create or update position descriptions in line with measurable and achievable KPI’s.
  • Play a key role in managing the upcoming international recruitment project and visa sponsorship process. 
  • Manage the national apprenticeship program for all ports. 
  • Document control management; e.g. P&C forms, policies, position descriptions, interview guides and presentation briefs.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role with HR/Recruitment
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Experience using different HR systems and programs (e.g. Express, HR Onboard, Time Target). 
  • Excellent computer skills within the Microsoft Suite of products.
  • An organised approach to all processes and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships internally & externally.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
