Reporting into the Executive Chef, you will work alongside culinary professionals, whilst playing a pivotal role in leading a team of up to 300 dedicated Catering Attendants. In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are: - Monitoring standards and consistency of all production activities focussing on labour hours, wastage and flight schedules
- Maintaining a high-quality standard of production
- Diagnose and implement improvements in processes
- Monitor compliance requirements across health and safety, food safety (HACCP & CCP), and security.
- Collaborate with other internal shareholders to coordinate all the activities involved in delivering our product
- Provide direction and support to a team of up to 300 Catering Attendants, proactively coaching for high performance
- Creating an environment where everyone can do their best work.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role? - Previous experience in leading a large team is essential.
- Demonstrated success in working within an operations environment.
- Experience in working in a Food Hygiene/Health & Safety/High Security environment is preferred.
- Previous experience in managing more than 30 frontline staff.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing a diverse group of employees.
- A strong commitment to food safety and compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
