Come and join our People & Culture team and lead the people efforts for two of our amazing business units as our full time Manager, People & Culture - Retail Operations We are seeking an experienced HR Practitioner to support and manage relationships for our growing retail division, predominantly based in Crestmead with travel to Coolangatta. This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR responsibilities for our ready-made bulk meal production facility, Snapfresh and our Commercial Bakery. The Manager, People & Culture - Retail Operations reports directly to our Chief People Officer. The role is responsible for delivering on the Human Resources framework, policies, practices and compliance activities for their client portfolio as well as designing and delivering various strategic projects for these businesses.The role works closely with Executive and Senior Leadership Teams for the portfolios. What are your responsibilities? - Providing P&C leadership, guidance and support facilitation for two sites.
- Manage Talent acquisition, sourcing, interviewing, onboarding and retention.
- Ensuring our people systems provide a positive Employee experience.
- Support business leaders in the prevention and resolution of industrial disputes and employee grievances.
- Act as the point of contact for both staff and managers for all P&C matters
- Manage, communicate and document any changes in legislative requirements that affect these business areas.
- Motivate and inspire team members by creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
- Hold regular meetings with Business Leaders for planning and communications
- Be a visible Leader through regular staff interactions, gathering feedback, site walks and building both upward and downward relationships.
- Split time between both sites or visit the alternate site once a week at a minimum.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role? - Demonstrated success in a similar role, min 5 years exp.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business and or Human Resources Management
- Current knowledge of The Australian Fair Work Act and Regulations
- Strong industrial relations experience, including negotiating skills.
- Previous high-level experience with multiple HRIS and ATS systems.
- Confident time management and organisational skills of self and others
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to be a big picture thinker.
- Strong communication both written and verbal, along with presentation skills
- Conflict resolution and performance management experience desirable.
- Experience in a large, complex multi-site business with more than 200 staff.
