Join our Broadbeach team as an experienced Contracts Administrator (Facilities & Construction) and play a key role in managing contracts while supporting facilities, maintenance, and construction projects across Australia. About the role The Contracts Administrator (Facilities & Construction) is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for contract administration and commercial support across facilities, maintenance and construction projects. Reporting to the GM, Facilities & Fleet, you will ensure contracts are well managed, costs are controlled and documentation is accurate, while supporting the successful delivery of projects across a national operational footprint. Key responsibilities - Administer and manage construction and facilities contracts across national projects
- Track cost, variations, claims and payment certifications
- Maintain accurate contract, cost and document control systems
- Support procurement and tender processes
- Identify and escalate contractual and commercial risks
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and airport stakeholders
- Provide timely reporting to support GM and leadership decision making
What do you need to be successful in securing this role? - Demonstrated experience in contract administration within construction, building or facilities environments
- Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks and project cost management
- Experience managing payment claims, variations and contract documentation
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and record-keeping capabilities
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify risks, interpret contracts and provide clear, practical advice
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with contract or tender management systems (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Contracts, Law, Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience) (desirable)
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments (e.g. airports, infrastructure, or operational facilities) is highly regarded
