We’re seeking a driven and experienced stock management professional to join our high-performing team as a Unit Logistics Officer at our busy Flight Catering unit in Perth Airport – full-time.

About the role

You will be responsible for monitoring the Domestic and International airline equipment daily inventory levels across all airlines, and engaging in logistic communications directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the facility has sufficient stock to cater for our daily demand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily stock reviews, replenishments, and internal distribution of inbound stock.
• Report and handle damaged or de-listed stock in line with ABF regulations.
• Coordinate stock deliveries from offsite warehouses and airline customers.
• Maintain documentation for customs audits and compliance reports.
• Monitor stock expiry/date codes and ensure timely reporting.
• Plan and forecast equipment and stock levels at kitchens and 3PL locations, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Support scheduled airline audits and follow up on action points.
• Operate the ERP system with accurate data entry.
• Lead a small warehouse team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Maintain and optimise dnata’s internal delivery system to meet all internal customer needs.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

• Forklift license.
• Experience in logistics, production processes, and warehousing; aviation knowledge a plus.
• Proficient in Excel with strong documentation and records management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; able to handle challenging situations with tact.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
• Clear National Police Check
