We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Project Manager, IT to join our IT & Solutions team within dnata catering & retail.

More about this role

This role is responsible for delivering major technology and business transformation projects across dnata catering & retail’s Australian operations, acting as a trusted project lead and partnering with operational teams, People & Culture, Finance, and vendors to achieve high‑quality outcomes. A key focus is the end‑to‑end delivery of a new HRIS—from design and build through to testing, implementation, and adoption—while managing risk, ensuring strong governance, and supporting a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery, from planning to implementation and benefits realisation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and business requirements.
• Provide clear project reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Partner with business owners to understand requirements and maintain alignment.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project forums.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate analysts, technical leads, and contributors.
• Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners.
• Support change management and training to drive user adoption.

About you

• Demonstrated experience delivering IT projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing vendors.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Exposure to change management and training practices.
• Experience in catering, aviation, manufacturing, or hospitality (desirable).
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel interstate as required.
• Flexibility to work hours aligned to project and operational needs.
