More about this role This role is responsible for delivering major technology and business transformation projects across dnata catering & retail’s Australian operations, acting as a trusted project lead and partnering with operational teams, People & Culture, Finance, and vendors to achieve high‑quality outcomes. A key focus is the end‑to‑end delivery of a new HRIS—from design and build through to testing, implementation, and adoption—while managing risk, ensuring strong governance, and supporting a smooth transition. Key Responsibilities - Lead full project lifecycle delivery, from planning to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Provide clear project reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Partner with business owners to understand requirements and maintain alignment.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project forums.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate analysts, technical leads, and contributors.
- Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners.
- Support change management and training to drive user adoption.
About you - Demonstrated experience delivering IT projects end‑to‑end.
- Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing vendors.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Exposure to change management and training practices.
- Experience in catering, aviation, manufacturing, or hospitality (desirable).
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Additional Requirements - Willingness to travel interstate as required.
- Flexibility to work hours aligned to project and operational needs.
