A day in the life of a Catering Attendant  

 

Join our Melbourne team as a full-time Catering Attendant and play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for passengers onboard some of the world’s top airlines. Working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, you will be part of a collaborative team ensuring flights are fully stocked and ready for service. 

 

As part of our production team, you will: 

  • Preparing and portioning food items to airline and customer specifications.
  • Following recipes and presentation guides to ensure consistency and quality across all meal products.
  • Packing and preparing meals for dispatch in line with production schedules.
  • Working collaboratively with other operational teams to ensure on-time delivery requirements are met.
  • Completing food safety and quality documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Following all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety policies, including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI standards.

About You

  • Full ongoing working rights in Australia.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
  •  Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays) and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to safety, hygiene and compliance.
  • Team-first mindset with a willingness to support others.
  • Good communication and basic numeracy skills. 
  • Basic knife skills (role-specific).
  • Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable).
