The Opportunity


We are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Marshallers to join our busy Sydney Airport (West facility) team.


This role will require you to work with the Driver to position the catering trucks to the aircraft and also has a strong focus on manual handling activities such as the loading and unloading of carts and equipment.


The position is permanent part-time (minimum 25 hours per week).


Key Responsibilities

  • Marshall the Driver to position the truck to the aircraft in line with policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload the trucks with carts, ovens and standard units.
  • Prepare and pack catering equipment.
  • Prepare, pack and check off on completed flight and deliveries at the kitchen production unit.
  • Carry out basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties.
  • Perform administrative documentation and reporting duties as required.
  • Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with all stakeholders.
  • Work in accordance to the Company’s policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, Food Safety and WHS.

Selection Criteria

  • Must have a valid Driver’s license (Airside Driving Authority).
  • Ability to obtain a valid ASIC card and pass a criminal history check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with a positive work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work around flight schedules (7-day week business operation).
