About the Role Are you someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and thrives on keeping things accurate and organised? Join our fun, friendly and supportive team, where no two days are the same. Based at our Head Office in Broadbeach, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting accurate and timely billing and receivables activities across an allocated customer ledger. You’ll work closely with airline customers, operational teams and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries, investigate discrepancies and ensure customer accounts are accurate, up to date and well maintained. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems and taking pride in delivering a high standard of service and accuracy. In this role, you will: - Prepare, raise and issue invoices and prepare credit notes accurately and within required deadlines.
- Review and validate supporting documentation to ensure accurate customer billing.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders as well as customers to achieve accurate invoicing
- Investigate and assist in resolving billing discrepancies, account queries and data issues.
- Issue customer statements in line with agreed requirements.
- Monitor allocated customer ledgers and follow up outstanding items, payment disputes and unresolved matters.
- Prepare weekly reports, account updates and ad hoc analysis.
- Maintain accurate customer account information and supporting records.
Build positive and professional relationships with airline customers, operational teams and internal Finance stakeholders. - Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and ways of working within the Accounts Receivable function
About You You are an organised and detail-focused Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and delivering a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will bring: - Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role.
- Experience working in a high-volume accounts receivable environment.
- Proficiency Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Full ongoing working rights in Australia and the ability to pass all required pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and medical assessment.
